Defoam-X additive is a low-toxicity blend of defoaming agents formulated to control foaming in muds containing freshwater or seawater and in viscous brine systems.

Applications

Defoam-X additive is a wide-application product that reduces the foaming tendencies of water-base muds. It is compatible with freshwater muds, seawater muds, brine systems and all common mud additives. It has proven to be especially effective in KCl and seawater muds. Defoam-X additive is easy to mix, works quickly, is effective in low concentrations and is a more persistent defoamer than alternative products.
